Hi! Thanks for taking a look at our Nipissing Guest House.

We are both physicians working at NBRHC and passionate about our beautiful community. We want to ensure that your rotation or locum experience is comfortable and you have the opportunity to enjoy what our great city has to offer.

Vanessa was born and raised in North Bay and was delighted to move home after her training to start her career. She is a proud NOSM graduate who then completed her ophthalmology residency at Ottawa University followed by a clinical pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at CHEO.

Taylor grew up in the Greater Toronto Area but has been fully converted to life in Northern Ontario! He attended Queen’s University for medical school, the University of Toronto for family medicine residency, and the University of Ottawa for his enhanced skills year in emergency medicine. 

Outside of work, we keep ourselves busy wrangling our three young boys! The guest house is directly across our small yard from our house, so you will likely see our boys playing and smiling and waving. They may also invite you over for dinner!
